Business Development Manager
Location: UK Based (work remotely)
Salary: Up to £50,000 basic plus commission

We are an established perimeter security company based in the North West, specialising in the installation and service of a range of perimeter security solutions, including vehicle barriers, road blockers, bollards, gates, turnstiles, and fencing. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive range of perimeter security solutions to customers across the UK. Our customers include commercial end-users such as retail establishments, hospitals, schools, government buildings, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Confidently cold-calling and generating short, medium, and long-term pipelines
- Converting opportunities into sales
- Conducting detailed site surveys to offer the most beneficial solutions to customers
- Preparing quotes and presenting them to customers, ultimately closing deals
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record in a sales role within the perimeter security industry
- Extensive knowledge of various automated gate systems, barriers, automatic doors, bollards, etc.
- Previous experience selling both installations and service contracts
- The ability to work independently and confidently cold call potential clients
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
