Technical Support Engineer

Essex (Office-based with occasional site visits)  
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm  
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum + Benefits

Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Essex-based office to provide exceptional support to our customers and sales team.

The Role:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for offering remote technical support and troubleshooting for our door entry and access control systems and software. You will also be required to occasionally visit customer sites to assist with more complex issues. In addition to customer support, you will provide technical guidance and training to our sales team, helping them better understand our product range and address technical queries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to customers on door entry and access control systems and software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- Visit customer sites when necessary to offer hands-on support.
- Assist the sales team with technical queries, offering product training and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with new product developments and software updates.
  
Requirements:
- A technical or engineering background, specifically in door entry or access control systems, with a minimum of two years experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
