Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader for the role of Commercial Director. This role is pivotal in driving sales, achieving revenue targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the UK and Ireland. You will have overall responsibility for a large, multi-disciplinary team—including internal and external sales, technical, training, and sales admin teams—ensuring alignment towards achieving ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the electronic security industry to exceed revenue targets and capture new market opportunities.
- Customer Focus & Relationship Building: Maintain and expand relationships with key clients and channel partners, focusing on delivering customised solutions that align with customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and commitment to achieving shared goals.
- Business Development & Partnership Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, specifically with large system integrators, installers, and distributors, to foster growth and create a competitive advantage in the market.
- Market Analysis & Trend Identification: Conduct thorough market research to anticipate trends, allowing the business to stay ahead and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Business Planning & Execution: Prepare, implement, and manage a detailed business plan that supports the company’s objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes.
