Job Title BMS Key Account Manager
Reporting to Sales Manager

Overview
The BMS Key Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales and
collaborating with internal teams. Their role is vital in ensuring client satisfaction and achieving
business growth through effective client & relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Building and Maintaining Relationships: establishes strong, long-term relationships
with clients, acting as the main point of contact for all client-related matters.
Work to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction with BMS products and
services.
Customer Support: Respond to client inquiries, address concerns, and provide
solutions to any issues that arise, ensuring a positive client experience.
Customer Focus: Maintain a positive attitude towards all client related works with a
pro-active approach.
Sales and Business Development:
Identifying Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within
existing accounts, aiming to expand the company's market presence.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to promote services and
solutions, striving to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Promoting and selling the brand and understanding all sales propositions.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients, ensuring
favourable terms for both parties.
Collaboration and Communication:
Internal Collaboration: Works closely with other departments (such as service and
projects) to ensure client needs are met and aligned with the company’s offerings.
Effective Communication: Maintain clear and open lines of communication with both
clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity on all projects and initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis:
Internal Reporting / Analysis: Provide timely updates and briefings. Monthly sales
activity reports and order forecasts
Record leads, progress and report opportunity for sustainability led services for
upselling purposes
External Reporting / Analysis: Provide client updates and reports. Regular customer
facing meetings with site / portfolio related updates.

KPI’s of Role
Deliver growth of the brand at procurement level by developing new/existing opportunities.
Generate new sales leads/opportunities for maintenance and project works
Meeting and exceeding growth and contributed margin targets for each customer.
Accurate and timely reporting and forecasting
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
A passion for customer satisfaction
Proven experience within the BMS industry
Ambition work under own initiative but work as part of a team
Understanding of prioritizing opportunities, allocating time & focus accordingly
Commercial awareness
Technical understanding of specific products, solutions and services
Experience required with minimum of 2 of the following products:
Trend, Tridium, Distech & Siemens
Good attention to detail
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
Customer Service Skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Team worker – willing to support others within the team and across the organisation to achieve both team and organisational goals
Keen attitude towards Service Management & Financial tools
