Senior Project Manager

Up to £80,000 basic plus 33 days holiday, enhanced pension, private healthcare.
We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially aware security project manager. We design, supply, install and maintain smart building technologies including security systems, BMS, Audio Visual and wired/wireless networks. Within the role of Project Manager you will work within our design team, managing the project from bid through to handover, overseeing the installation, test and commissioning. You will manage costs working within budget and manage variations and extra works, keeping track of these. You will order materials, allocate labour and manage all relevant documentation. Its key to map out the relationships with the client and contractors, keeping the client up to date with progress.
The role will involve working on site or in the office two to three days per week with the option to work the rest of the time from home. Most of the projects are in or around London with some involving European travel. The projects are high end commercial and residential sites with some data centre projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following.
- Project Management of electrical projects at enterprise level including security systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise security systems such as Genetec, C-Cure, Milestone.
- Confident in writing and managing programmes, managing costs and budgets, managing labour, managing variations, and liaising with other departments.
- Experienced managing high value projects
- Flexibility to travel into London when required.
- Hold ECS and SMSTS
- Hold Prince 2, APM, CTPM qualifications (DESIREABLE).
