The Role:
We are seeking a Project Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling fire and security systems to commercial end-users and facilities management (FM) companies across the North of the UK. This is a highly autonomous role where your ability to self-generate leads, follow up on warm leads, and manage existing accounts will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

- New Business Development:Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
- Lead Management: Follow up on warm leads and convert them into sales, while also managing and expanding existing client accounts.
- Client Engagement: Conduct customer visits, carry out site surveys, design bespoke fire and security systems, prepare detailed quotes, and present tailored solutions to customers.
- Sales Conversion: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact through to closing the deal, ensuring a high conversion rate.
- Cross-Selling & Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to increase client spend by cross-selling and up-selling additional products and services.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar sales role within the fire and security systems industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire and security products, with relevant qualifications (e.g., BAFE, FIA) being highly desirable.
- Ability to design, quote, and present tailored fire and security solutions.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
- Flexibility to travel across the North of the UK and adapt to varying working hours.
