Key responsibilities:
• Principle point of contact, on assigned projects, with customer & key stakeholders for all design activity
• Preparation of defined BMS design deliverables including Network Architectures, Points Schedules, Sequence of Operations, etc
• Identification of scope changes including provision of necessary information to support claims for time/cost impact
• Actively co-ordinate with internal teams, ensuring flow of information to allow efficient Software & Graphics production
• Contribute to the continuous development & improvement of customer engineering standards
• Act as our customers trusted advisor in all aspects of BMS design & technical solutions
Skills and attributes:
• The core requirement for the role will be to have demonstrable experience in the design Building Management Systems, ideally within the Data Centre technical domain
• The role needs to operate on a truly international basis, working with global projects & high levels of co-ordination with teams from multiple countries – excellent communication skills will be required
• Ability to challenge the way the team works to further enhance our efficiency around deliverables, and contribute to the planning and implementation of improvement strategies
• Manage multiple projects/time constrained deliverables through strong planning and reprioritisation where required
• Ideally qualified to degree level in relevant engineering discipline, however candidates with diploma level qualifications & demonstrable experience in a BMS/HVAC Design role would also be welcome
• Minimum 5 Years BMS design engineering experience, delivering greenfield projects in Data Centre, or similar mission critical segments
