We’re recruiting for an Internal Sales Consultant to join a successful and expanding electronic security distributor based in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly, motivated team and make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-demand industry.

🧩 About the Role:
This is a proactive, phone-based sales role focused on developing business with both existing and potential customers from a well-maintained database. You’ll be introducing our full range of security solutions, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to professional security installation companies across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to existing and prospective B2B customers

  • Promoting a range of electronic security products and solutions

  • Building rapport, identifying needs, and offering the right solutions

  • Cross-selling and up-selling where appropriate

  • Following up on enquiries and maintaining regular contact with clients

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar proactive internal sales or telesales role

  • Confident telephone manner – you’re comfortable picking up the phone

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships

  • A proactive, driven attitude with a commercial mindset

  • Experience selling a technical or technology-based product (e.g. IT, telecoms, electrical, etc.)

  • Industry-specific knowledge in security is beneficial, but full product training will be provided
