Business Development Manager – Access Control & Door Entry Solutions

About the Company  
We are a leading European manufacturer of cutting-edge access control and door entry products, providing innovative security solutions across multiple sectors. As we continue to expand our presence in the UK, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and build lasting client relationships.

The Role  
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base across key sectors, including hospitality, local authorities, social housing, and commercial enterprises. This is a field-based/home-working role covering the North of the UK.

Key Responsibilities: 
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target sectors.
- Engage directly with end-users, delivering product demonstrations and advising on tailored security solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Proactively conduct cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Work closely with system installers to facilitate product adoption and implementation.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth.

Requirements: 
- Proven sales experience in the security industry, specifically in electronic access control/door entry products.
- Demonstrated success in selling to end-users (B2B) and experience working with system installers.
- Strong business development skills with a proactive approach to lead generation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for product demonstrations.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
- Must be based in the North of the UK.
